Prices shown on the website include vehicle price (FOB) for all our stock. This is the price of the vehicle and required documents. It does not include shipping fee, insurance and other costs.

1. How can I confirm the vehicle's condition?
All of our stock is inspected by professional mechanics, and the condition of each vehicle is described on the Vehicle Information Sheet on the web site.
2. What if I was not satisfied with the condition of vehicles?
Please do not worry about the vehicles' conditions,
since all vehicles sold by WWW.JDMCORP.JP are all genuine Japanese vehicles, and all of them are fully inspected by professional Japanese mechanics at our stockyards.
WWW.JDMCORP.JP recommends vehicles with vehicle's condition graded between 6 and 4. (Drivable as is!)
However, if you are not happy with the car after you receive the vehicle, we are here to cover the loss according to our claim clause.

3. What is Reg. Year?
Reg.Year(Regulation year) means the first year the vehicle is registered by law in Japan, and appears on all the documents of the vehicle itself. It sometimes differs from the year of manufacture of the vehicle.
4. How do you grade the vehicle?
As a quality control, our inspectors verify the vehicle conditions. Unless otherwise they fix indicated mechanical problems prior to sale. The grade is finalized after counting all scratches, dents and defects of the vehicle.
5. Do you tamper with the mileage of the vehicle?
We do not tamper with the mileage in the vehicle for any case and for any reason. The mileage of some vehicles are sometimes extremely low, but this is possible in Japanese Cities where people rely mainly on means of public transportation.
6. Does the vehicle come with an English manual?
Vehicles are Japanese domestic models and are not equipped with an English owners manual.
7. Why are there so few Diesel engine vehicles?
A majority of vehicles produced in Japan have petrol engines. As a result, Diesel automobiles are rarer and tend to be more expensive.
8. Why are there so few Left-Hand Drive vehicles?
Japan is a Right Hand Drive Country so Japanese makers do not produce LH drive vehicles for the domestic market.
You may see Left Hand Drive vehicles from Europe and America in stock sometimes.
9. Why are there so few Manual Transmission vehicles?
A majority of vehicles produced in Japan have an automatic transmission. As a result, manual transmission automobiles are rarer and tend to be more expensive.
10. Will the GPS navigation system installed in the vehicle work in my country?
No, the GPS navigation system installed in the vehicles from Japan works only in Japan. It is not possible to update its maps for different countries.




1. How much does the shipping cost?

If you click the button and select the port of delivery, the shipping cost will be automatically calculated.
2. What does the warranty cover?
Warranty will cover the following:
• Cost of the vehicle if the vessel sinks, catches fire, or destroyed totally during transit
• Cost of "general average" (i.e. cost of salvation if the vessel is rescued before sinking)
• Cost of any parts stolen, or replacement of any parts stolen, during transit
• Cost of any damage incurred during transit
Warranty is valid while the vehicle is on the vessel only. (i.e. Warranty ceases once the vehicle departs from the vessel's gate.)
The accidents described above do not occur often, however, they do occur unexpectedly.
3. How do I receive a proforma invoice?
Your proforma invoice will be sent to you via email.
Please proceed with your payment ASAP to ensure the quickest shipment of your vehicle.
4. What is CIF and FOB?
CIF stands for (Cost + Insurance + Freight). It includes Car cost, Marine Insurance and shipping fee.
FOB stands for Free On Board. It is the price shown on the stock.
5. How much will the total cost be that I have to pay?
The price of a vehicle + Shipping Fee + Marine Insurance (if required) + Inspection (if required)
Please contact us before you make an order.
You need to pay import duty, customs clearing fee and so on in your country.

7. What is the JAAI inspection?
The JAAI inspection is a paid certificate to guarantee the quality of the vehicle approved by the JAAI (Japan Auto Appraisal Institute). In some countries, the Government requires JAAI inspection for imported used vehicles. Without JAAI inspection, you will be charged a penalty.
8. What is the JEVIC inspection?
The JEVIC inspection is a paid certificate to guarantee the quality of the vehicle approved by the JEVIC (Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Centre). In some countries, the Government requires JEVIC inspection for imported used vehicles. Without JEVIC inspection, you will be charged a penalty.
9. What does "consignee" mean?
The consignee is the person entitled to receive delivery of the goods. The name is listed on the Bill of Lading and all the documents regarding the vehicle we provide.
10. What is "RO-RO" shipment?
Shipment by Ro-Ro (Roll on-Roll off) refers to shipment done with vessels where the vehicles are loaded and unloaded by driving them into and out of the ship, All vehicles are secured in their respective bays and are isolated from the elements during the sea passage. Such shipment is usually faster and cheaper than container shipments. There are some destinations that Ro-Ro shipments are not available.
11. What is "Container shipment"?
During container shipment, vehicles are loaded and fixed in a container (a big metal box of standard size). Shipment by the container is very safe and covers almost all ocean ports in the world. It is usually more expensive and slower than Ro-Ro shipment.
As a default, we provide quotations for shipments in 20 feet long containers. 40 feet containers are also available on request and might be convenient for purchases of multiple vehicles.
12. What is "Vanning"?
"Vanning" is the process of professionally loading and securing in order for vehicles to get damaged in case of rough weather conditions during the transportation on the vessel.
13. What does "Final Destination" mean?
"Final Destination" defines the country where you will register your vehicle.

Telegraphic Transfer ( Bank remittance ) - This is the preferred method of payment and it is a quickest and safest way of your payment. Although it really depends on your local bank, It normally takes approx 1-7 business days to receive and process your payment.
Our bank details are available here. As soon as you have done your payment. Please email your sales staff a copy of your invoice and the bank receipt, and we will send you the confirmation.
2. When is the payment deadline?
Please complete the payment as indicated as expire day on the invoice
3. How long does it take to reach your account?
Although it really depends on your local bank, It normally takes approx 1-7 business days to receive and process your payment.  We will let you know as soon as we confirm your payment.
4. When should I pay?
Our stock will be sold upon "First come, first served" basis.
Please arrange the payment ASAP and send us payment copy to keep the car.
We will reserve the car upon your full payment.
5. What if the car was sold to another client after I paid?
Please do not worry!
We will either

6. What are your bank account details?
It is written on the invoice. To be sure, please double check it on our company's profile page. There are all bank details. Please be careful of fake emails and make a direct contact with JDM staff.
7. Can I make full payment for the car by credit card?
You can make a payment by a credit card using Paypal. Please ask us directly how to proceed.
8. Do you accept my local currency?
We accept Japanese Yen, US Dollars, Great Britain Pound and Euro.
9. Can I purchase at FOB prices?
Yes, purchasing for FOB prices is possible for some countries. Please contact us for the details.
10. How will I know when my payment has been deposited into your account?
It is very important that you provide us the proof of payment to confirm your order. Once the payment has been made, please send us a confirmation of payment together with the proforma invoice number or your given customer number via Email.
Once your payment is confirmed in our account, we will inform you by email.




1. How long does shipment take?
Delivery of your vehicle to your nearest port will depend on the timing of your payment and the shipping company's schedule.
2. When will my car get shipped?
Shipping details are noticed within 2 weeks from the date of confirmation by our logistics department.
3. How will I know about the shipping schedule?
Booking will be arranged by us. Please wait for an email from our logistic team as for the departure and arrival date of your shipment, which is usually sent within 2 weeks from the date of the payment confirmation.
In some cases, we will contact you to ask further information, if necessary for the shipment. But it is not the case please leave it up to us. We will notify the shipment details once the vehicle is confirmed for shipment by a shipping company. Please keep a note of the arrival date and confirm with the local shipping agent in case the arrival date has been changed.
We strongly recommend you to contact your local clearing agent or shipping agent to confirm the arrival date before you pick up your vehicle.
4. What is the information required for shipment?
There are three different things required to confirm the shipment of your vehicle.
• Consignee Address
Information on the person who will appear on the shipping documents.
This is the person who receives the vehicle.
• Courier Address
Where shipping documents will be sent.
• Notify Party
Person to contact at the port of delivery. In most cases, it will be your clearing agent.
5. What do I have to prepare for the shipment?
In most cases, there is nothing you need to do. JDM will arrange the shipping on your behalf. Once you received a notice for booking, please remember the arrival date so you can pick up your car.
6. To which countries do you export your vehicles?
JDM exports to any Country that allows imports of used vehicles from Japan.
7. Why do you need my physical address?
The physical address is a requirement that has been set out by the shipping Companies and Courier Companies that will be involved in the delivery process.
Any discrepancies regarding consignee details can lead to a delay in delivery. So it is highly encouraged to double check your data before submitting.
We do understand many Nations do not have a physical address. If there is no physical address available, please include your street or building name and provide the nearest Village or Town name together with the P.O. Box address.
8. Can I track my documents once they have been dispatched?
Yes, you can track your documents. We usually use DHL for sending documents. They provide a tracking number for each package.
9. What is the customs clearance process?
Once the vehicle arrives at the port, it will be your responsibility to perform customs clearance. If you are not in a position to clear the vehicle personally, you can hire a local agent to perform customs clearance. Please contact your local clearing agent for the necessary steps to be followed well in advance of the arrival of the car.
For the vehicles with Durban as the destination port, the use of a clearing agent is compulsory. Please tell us your preferred clearing agent. If you do not know the agent, please contact us, and we will introduce our preferred agents.
10. What will I have to pay once I receive the vehicle?
Upon arrival of the vehicle, you will have to pay port clearing costs, import duties and taxes and any additional fees requested by your Country or by the port of destination.
Please verify with local authorities or a good clearing agent for more details.
11. How do I find my port of discharge?
JDM managers will support you with this question. Please contact us directly.
12. When do you ship my car?
We will arrange the soonest available shipment after full payment has been made. We keep you updated on the shipping schedule.
It takes about 1~2 weeks from purchase a vehicle to leaving Japan port for your country.
15. What should I do after my car leaves Japan?
JDM will send you the Bill of Lading and other documents by air carrier.
Please bring them to the customs office and pick up the car.

Yes, but it depends on your order. Please inquire directly.
2. Can you put parts inside the vehicle I bought?
Yes, JDM can put parts inside the vehicle when you use container shipment.
3. Can you supply parts for Japanese cars for overseas market and not imported directly from Japan?
Overseas model parts are not available in Japan. Parts for overseas models are sold in the country where the new vehicle was sold.
In the cases the parts number is available we might be able to find compatible parts in Japan.
4. Could you send us the pictures of the parts to make sure the parts quoted are the ones I need?
We are sorry but we cannot take pictures of the parts because we source them from our suppliers only after you complete your order.
We do our best to get the correct parts by getting details and diagrams to double check the items we are selling.
5. How long does it take to deliver the parts to my address?
Delivery of parts by air courier normally takes from 5 days to 1 week.
The delivery via ocean freight to the destination port takes around one month to one month and a half.
6. Can you send the parts by sea-mail or air-mail?
Yes, we can send parts by air-mail or sea-mail, however, we do not recommend those methods because they are not traceable and cannot be insured.
7. Why is air freight so expensive?
Air freight seems expensive but it is fast, safe and traceable.
Our courier freight rates are far more reasonable than regular rates since we are granted very favorable terms for bulk orders.
8. Can I return the part if it is a wrong one?
Wrong parts provided based on incorrect information are not returnable.
9. Is there any warranty on new parts?
Parts sold in Japan are warranted for domestic use only so we cannot offer any warranty on them.
To avoid any inconvenience, we check all the parts before we pack to make sure you get the right quality parts.

2. Can I buy a left-hand drive car?
Almost all the cars in Japan is right-hand drive (RHD), but sometimes left-hand drive (LHD) vehicles are also available at JDM
3. Can I order spare parts?
Yes, you can get Spare Parts Supply Service if you buy a car from us.
4. I am not living in my country at the moment, which address do I indicate?
Please enter the address where the vehicle should be imported.
For example, if you live in the U.K. but wish to import the vehicle into Zimbabwe, then enter the address in Zimbabwe.
Please make sure that your street address is correct when you complete the order form since this will be the address used for all shipping documentation.
For Caribbean clients and clients importing vehicles through Durban port.
Please note that your PO Box address alone will not suffice.
A street address is required in accordance with the U.S. Government's Department of Homeland
Security for Caribbean clients, and the South African Government for vehicles being imported via Durban port.
5. Do you have any representative outside of Japan?
JDM has several offices. Please contact our Japan office managers for details.
6. Why do Japanese people trade their vehicles so quickly?
Many Japanese drivers love their vehicles and cannot wait to change their vehicle for the new shape models.
Most models undergo the change of shapes every five years.
Also, the registration system here in Japan is very expensive, at an average cost of US$1,200 per year.
After 9 years it does not become worth the cost to register such a vehicle.
Therefore many Japanese drivers prefer to change to new models.
7. Why is cars mileage (KM) in Japan so low?
Many Japanese people travel to work using public transportation such as trains and buses, and there are very few parking spaces in Japan. Therefore it is not convenient to drive to work.
Besides, the train systems in Japan are so efficient and punctual. Since many Japanese employees work late, there is not much chance to drive their vehicles during the weekdays.
That leaves only the weekends to enjoy driving their vehicles. The average Japanese car travels approx. 8,000km per year.
8. What is WWW.JDMCORP.JP's claim policy?
We are confident about our car quality, but if you are not satisfied with the condition, please contact us ASAP according to our claim clause.
Our claim clause is as below;
No claim shall be accepted unless;
the FOB amount of the vehicle purchased is above US$1,500
claimed damages is above US$300 (the Buyer shall bear US$299 as a repair cost per car);
the age of the vehicle is less than 10 years;
for engine and transmission trouble, the number of miles driven of the vehicle is 100,000km or less.
the Buyer notify the Seller of any complaints in detail in writing within 14 days after the arrival of the vehicle at the destination specified in the bill of lading;
the following documents are presented by e-mail or facsimile within 7 days after the notice in subparagraph e, above; port authority's report of any damage or missing items from the vehicle, a reputable local garage's report and quotation in U.S. dollar currency for repairs, and photos of any damage
The Seller shall not be liable for;
interior damages that are judged as minor and no need to mention or invisible (including without limitation scratches, cigar burns, stains and cuts);
missing or damaged interior equipments (including without limitation shift knobs, headrests, sun shades, spare tires, jack toolkits, floor mats, cigarette lighter, and remote controls);
exterior damages that are judged as minor and no need to mention or invisible (including without limitation scratches, tiny dents, holes and small rust); or
snow tires aftermarket alloy wheels not mentioned or missing wheel lock nut any consumable parts including without limitation oil, fuel, tire tread, air-conditioning gas, etc
9. Can I amend the Bill of Lading?
The shipping company will not accept any changes of B/L after arrival date. For example, regarding the Mombasa port, Mombasa customs regulations do not accept any changes before 7 business days of arrival. Please kindly check your document again and advise us immediately if there is an amendment.
